Wall ties set standard

The latest range of wall tie products from OTTER® / Titan have been independently tested and rated to meet the rigid requirements of the new standard and masonry code (AS/NZ 2699:2000) released last year.

The wall tie wires are coloured red for easy identification and have a high zinc coating of 470mg/m² for extra long life. They are also pre-coloured so there is no mess or clean up. One galvanised wire tie - wall ties are produced from BHP’s wall tie wire - covers all corrosive conditions for site at least 1km from surf beaches.

The wall ties have been developed to meet the durability criteria specified in AS/NZS 2699:12 for all corrosion classifications from R3 down to R0. This wire can also be used for connectors and accessories to meet AS/NZS 2699:2.

OTTER® / Titan has five lines within its range of wall ties rates from light to heavy to suit most applications.
